How to Join Honolulu Toastmasters

Open to New Members

Honolulu Toastmasters Club is actively welcoming new members to join. Fresh perspectives and speeches from new members enrich our meetings, making them more engaging and rewarding for everyone.

Six Benefits Becoming a Toastmaster

When you join toastmasters, you will:

  1. Improve Public Speaking Skills – You will gain confidence and clarity in expressing your ideas through regular practice and constructive feedback.
  2. Develop Leadership Abilities – You can help running the club and take on club officer roles, building essential leadership and teamwork skills.
  3. Grow Your Confidence – By challenging yourself (in a positive and encouraging environment) you will overcome fear of speaking.
  4. Expand Your Network – You will connect with like-minded individuals locally and globally, fostering new friendships and professional relationships.
  5. Receive Toastmaster Magazine - Toastmasters Magazine is a monthly publication featuring articles on communication, leadership, personal growth, and success stories of members.
  6. Pay Less - Compared to other programs helping remove the fear of public speaking, Toastmasters is relatively inexpensive option.

Why Choose Honolulu Toastmasters Club

  • In-Person Meetings – We believe there’s no substitute for learning and growing through face-to-face interaction rather than in a virtual setting.
  • Convenient Location – We meet at Waterfront Plaza, a central spot for members living or working in Downtown Honolulu, Kaka‘ako, Ala Moana, Makiki, Nu‘uanu, or Kalihi neighborhoods.
  • Commitment to Quality – Our club is designed for business professionals eager to step out of their comfort zones and sharpen their skills.
  • World-Class Support – Honolulu Toastmasters is the home club of Robert Cravalho, one of only 96 Accredited Speakers worldwide. Imagine learning basketball from Michael Jordan or singing alongside Elvis Presley—that’s the level of mentorship we offer!
