Do I need to speak at my first meeting?
No worries—you can start your journey at your own pace. Typically, we invite guests to briefly introduce themselves at the beginning and share a guest comment at the end of the meeting. A portion of the meeting is dedicated to Table Topics (impromptu speaking), and you’re welcome to participate if you’d like.
What should I bring to the meeting?
There’s no need to bring anything! We simply ask that guests arrange their parking and arrive on time.
Is there a cost to attend or join?
Guests may attend as many meetings as they’d like at no cost or obligation. If you choose to join, membership dues cover both Toastmasters International and club fees. Please visit our New Members page for details.
How long does a meeting last?
Our meetings last 75 minutes. Afterward, most members and guests stay an additional 10–20 minutes to share feedback and socialize.
What is the atmosphere like—formal or casual?
Expect a warm, friendly atmosphere filled with positive energy and support.
What is the club dress code?
As a club for business professionals, our dress code is business casual.
Can I visit other clubs before joining?
Absolutely! We encourage visiting multiple Toastmasters clubs to find the best fit for you. In addition to location and timing, each club’s atmosphere and professionalism may influence your decision.
I'm just visiting Hawaii. Can I come to your meeting?
Yes! With Hawaii being a top global destination, we’re honored to welcome visitors from the U.S. Mainland and around the world who share experiences from their home clubs. E komo mai! (Welcome!)
